About us & the farm
We who live on beautiful Gård Björke are called Björn and Michael, and we moved from Switzerland to Sweden in 2019.
Here we were expected by a whole new life - a new language and culture, but also a new challenge with our own little farm!
A lot has happened since then. We learned Swedish, found friends and started a company. Sheep and chickens have moved in, over 1 kilometer of permanent fences have been built, we have built stables and planted trees. We took in the first hay, opened the farm shop, attended the first births and have been on the animal's last journey.
Our new life feels meaningful.
And here are we,
the day our farm shop opened :)
In 2020, have started growing vegetables, berries, fruits and herbs, and sheep and chickens have moved in. What we grow can be purchased in the small farm shop we opened in summer 2020. The product range is large, because we get to sell nice and good things to other farms as well.
We are very grateful that we get to be here and would like to develop our little farm into a place for diversity. Biodiversity is already very important today and we want it to continue to grow.
